The Temple is open daily from 8am – 12 noon and during events.

Land of Compassion Buddha is a Tibetan Buddhist center in the Gelugpa lineage. Founded in 1994 by Khensur Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Tsephel, it is located on the outskirts of Los Angeles in the quiet suburb of West Covina, California.

Land of Compassion Buddha is a multi-cultural center and welcomes students and practitioners from all cultures and backgrounds. Everyone is welcome! The center offers various events throughout the year, including Dharma teachings and group practice sessions. LCB offers Dharma teachings for free to the public and depends on the financial support of students and friends.
